"Nothing will grow together because nothing belongs together", Kurant visningsrum, Olavsvern, Tromsø.

Sanatorium is an installation inspired by the novel Der Zauberberg, 1924, by Thomas Mann, in which humans are isolated from the world in the mountains of Switzerland, for treatments of various diseases ranging from physical, somatic or mental disorders. The sanatorium is represented by three abstract plaster sculptures with mountain crystals and a video spelling out ZAUBERBERG. As a decor in the sanatorium is presented abstract tributes to three important figures who is currently also in some sort of sanatorium situation, namely Julian Assange, the chief editor of Wikileaks, hiding in the Ecuadorian embassy in London,  Chelsea Manning sentenced in 35 years for leaking sensitive military and diplomatic documents and Edward Snowden who revealed the omnipresent surveillance conducted by the National Security Intelligence and is currently in asylum somewhere in Russia.
